I've been wanting to blog for so long now, but I couldn't because I've been loaded with assignments, family obligations and some work related dillema of my own. But, the good part is, since it's the holiday week, I've been going around jalan-jalan cari makan, and I can't wait to post the pictures here.
First up, THE APARTMENT, The Curve...
First up, THE APARTMENT, The Curve...
Gotta love the creativity that makes them stand out from other places, but the service was extremely unsatisfactory. We had to wait ages until our food came, and we ordered desert with our entrees, but we had to wait a good 30 minutes even after we called for it -_- So, anyway, food was good, we had some sort of cod fish soup for starters, and then we had Chicken in a Bag, I was so eager to see what kind of bag they were talking bout, then it arrived, and aluminium foil bag, ceh... hehe... nevertheless, I loved the dish because when we opened the bag, the aroma of the chicken in cheesy sauce was enough to feed our souls, the desert, something chocolatey, was heavenly too :) Sorry, no pics of those, was busy eating so we could get back to work.
Then, I don't know if it was all the talk about eating good donuts, or the frustration of never having tried Krispy-Kreme donuts, I suddenly had to go get some donuts. I drove right away to Big Apple (The Curve) and bought 6 delicious donuts. I was happy.
And so was my nephew...
Next stop, would be Japanese-o, yummy-licious :)
Had my Salmon Teriyaki at this place in Centrepoint, it's called Momo, if I'm not mistaken. I simply love the environment there, the energy is so tranquil and serene, I feel as though I stepped into another world for lunch, which is pleasing, really...
And then, I also went to the Paddington Pancake House, and the usual T.G.I.F, I'm not gonna bother posting pics cz I always makan there, so no biggie lor...
We went to this place in One Utama called Jack's Place, which was pretty good, I loved the menu because it wasn't the usual boring chicken in black pepper sauce kinda crap, this one had some really creative sauces, like my collegue tried this chicken dish that came with orange and herb sauce, which tasted fabulous!
And then, of course, there are family functions which make you laugh and catch up with cousins that live oh-so-far-away :)
What's your Heineken moment?
Me loves me gramps! :)
