I've moved - to a new place. Lotsa reasons as to why I did it, but yea, i've moved and will not cont blogging here.

100 things I want in a man.

Met up with a friend some time back, and she told me that there was one episode in Oprah where this lady came on the show and said that she was so confused about every guy she dated, and she couldn't decide. So one day, she sat down, and came up with a list of 100 things she wanted in a man, her dream man. And when she started dating again, she realized that the man she was dating had 99 things out of that 100 on her list, and I think that is something pretty amazing, for anyone to find something so close on the dating scene.

So I decided that I had to do something about my life, even though I have not dated in a looong time, it's about time I came up with a list so I would at least know what to look for in a man, so here goes...

1. Want a man who will keep to his word, i.e. when he says he will call back, he does, as opposed to conveniently forgetting to call, too busy, etc.
2. A man who does not try to make excuses for his mistakes, instead admits it like a man.
3. Someone loyal
4. Someone who loves me, more like crazy about me :)
5. Someone trustworthy
6. Someone kind
7. Someone reliable
8. Someone intelligent, not like rocket scientist intelligent, but intelligent enough so I could have a decent conversation with him, at ease.
9. Someone who speaks good English- non-negotiable.
10. Someone caring
11. Someone ambitious, but knows how to balance having a good time, and working
12. Someone who keeps me planted to the ground, because heaven knows, I drift away ever so easily :P
13. Someone optimistic - well someone has to fill in for kanesa, lol.
14. Someone with a sense of humour
15. Someone chivalrous, gentleman like
16. Someone not so gentleman like in bed, hahaha
17. Someone who is patient - EXTREMELY IMPORTANT
18. Someone who does not make hasty decisions.
19. Someone who gets along well with my family
20. Someone who is willing to take care of my parents when they get old.
21. His family to get along well with my family.
22. Someone who my friends approve of :)
23. Someone who my friends can get along with
24. Someone who is generous with me
25. Someone who is NOT married
26. Someone who does not have children from previous marriages
27. Someone who is not afraid to stand up for me, and who always stands up for me, no matter how ridiculous I may be
28. Someone who does not smell bad, does not have bad body odour
29. Someone who enjoys playing games, i.e. ps3, computer games, etc
30. Someone who is able to support me plus any future family financially & emotionally
31. Someone who is able to have children
32. Someone who is good with children and likes them
33. Someone who wants to have children
34. Someone who is catholic, if not, someone who is not a religious fanatic.
35. Someone who is able to accept my religion and who I am, and will not want me to change.
36. Someone who is willing to let me raise any children we have the catholic way, or at least my way, cz i strongly believe that what goes around, comes around and that's basically my guideline for religion.
    
37. Someone who will accept me for who I am and not expect me to change before/after marriage
38. Someone who has good principles
39. Someone who stands up for his family
40. Someone who stands up for my family
41. Someone who stands up for our family
42. Someone who respects me and knows his boundaries
43. Someone who will protect me and my family
44. Someone who is not a freak, i.e. does not go online and show ppl his penis on webcams, does not walk around naked in public, does not take a leak on the sidewalk, etc.
45. Someone who knows how to console me when I'm upset
46. Someone who will handle a crisis well
47. Someone who has good taste in movies
48. Someone who loves beaches
49. Someone who loves travelling as much as I do - which is A LOT :)
50. Someone who likes collecting gadgets, provided he can afford them
51. Someone who is good with his finances, and is able to manage it well
52. Someone who is tech savvy, at least knows the basics of stuff
53. Someone who washes his hands after peeing!
54. Someone who helps me with house chores, if he has to
55. Someone who is romantic, or at least tries to be once in a while
