Y god Y???

Sometimes I wonder if God is punishing me for all the naughty things I ever did by giving me dumb students. Y god y?
I wasn't all that bad, at least I think I wasn't that bad to deserve students who argue with me about having sentences like:

"I think computer course is good because my brother took it and now he has a job"

in an academic piece of writing and tell me that it's totally acceptable to write crap like this in academic papers... SINCE FUCKIN WHEN??? And at least my sentence is grammatically correct, I couldn't bring myself to type the exact sentence he did because it was so f&^#$ up and I can't even remember it. This was the student who proudly declared to the class that he is going to get a band 6 for IELTS, and not forgetting, wants to become an architect. Dunno which buildings are gonna collapse in the future...*shudders*

And the worst part is, when I patiently corrected him, he started arguing with me. Great. Dumb and arrogant. The worst combination. Haiyo. I really don't mind explaining to my students when they don't know stuff, I really don't. Heck, that's my job, and I love it. But when it comes to arrogant bastards like this one, I just couldn't give a fuck and I wish they were deported back to their blardy countries and stop making my life miserable.

Of course I corrected him, and the rest of the class that argued alongside him, telling me, that I'M WRONG. *&^%%^&**.

And I gave him a piece of my mind, calmly of course, I never, EVER loose my temper in class. Shows students how vulnerable you are and puts you in a compromising position. Always calm, but damn sarcastic :P, when I'm pissed la.


So, after class, he came to kiss my ass (not literally, of course) so he erased the contents on the white board, and once everybody left, came to apologize to me. Sigh... so ok la, at least got the decency to do that. Sheesh.
